The club has been in existence since 1976 when some members of a target club based in East London, decided to concentrate on field archery. After a great deal of searching they finally found a sympathetic council to rent them a piece of woodland and the club has been at Forty Hall Wood, Enfield until last year, when, the approach fields being given to Tottenham Hotspur Football Club to build a football academy, we were asked to leave.

After 2 years of searching, the club has now found a new location at:

Stable Farm,
Red Lion Lane,
Great Gaddesden,
Hertfordshire,
HP2 6EZ

Normally, we put on at least two competitions (open shoots) a year for visiting archers and hold our own club championships, for which medals and trophies are presented. Some of the members particulary enjoy the competitive side, and attend open shoots put on by other clubs around the country.
