The club has been in existence since 1976 when some members of a target club based in East London, decided to concentrate on field archery. After a great deal of searching they finally found a sympathetic council to rent them a piece of woodland and the club has been at Forty Hall Wood, Enfield until 2009, when, the approach fields being given to Tottenham Hotspur Football Club to build a football academy, we were asked to leave.

After 2 years of searching, the club found a new location at:

Stable Farm,
Red Lion Lane,
Great Gaddesden,
Hertfordshire,
HP2 6EZ

Normally, we put on at least two competitions (open shoots) a year for visiting archers. Some of the members particularly enjoy the competitive side, and attend open shoots put on by other clubs around the country.
